All smiles for Nathan as he relishes his tea in Earth Tatva's recycled ceramic Mug
Nathan Pereira is a Product Designer working at Flatheads. Nathan admits he was quite skeptical whether recycled ceramics would be achievable but when he saw the final product, he was really amazed. According to him, one couldn’t tell at all that it was made from waste/discarded ceramics and the quality and finish looked really supreme. He especially likes the earthy tone and matt finish a lot and usually likes to have his early morning chai in it. The Earth Tatva Mug feels good to hold and is quite sturdy in his opinion.

Talking about living a green lifestyle, he accepts that he's not actively living one at the moment because according to him, green lifestyle is more about behavior change and breaking strongly established patterns and mental models which will take some more time but he's very slowly trying to make a conscious effort to move towards one in whatever way he can. To name a few activities he practices are segregating waste, carrying his own water bottle, walking as much as possible, cooking more rather than ordering and our personal favorite, using recycled ceramics.
He tries to educate his family and friends in whatever ways he can because he realizes that people won't change their behavior just because someone says it is good for the environment. He believes some proper education with good reasons and incentives are needed to make that happen.
Finally, he advices being curious and taking interest in what is happening around us will help better understand challenging problems like climate change. The more people understand, think and try to live the change they want to see, the more solutions we may have for it.
